These terms cover your use of the Mellowbit Studio website (tiny-app.studio) and our apps. By using the website or an app, you agree to them. They are written to be as plain as we can make them.

The website

You may use this website to read about our studio and apps. The content is provided for general information and may change without notice — product details, pricing, and release plans on this site are indicative until a product actually ships.

Apps and licenses

Our apps are distributed through the Mac App Store. When you download or purchase an app, the license is granted to you by the developer under Apple's Standard Terms & Conditions for applications distributed through the App Store. Mellowbit Studio is the party responsible for the apps' content and maintenance; Apple is not.

• You may use the apps on Macs you own or control, as the App Store terms allow.
• Purchases, refunds, and billing are handled by Apple and are subject to Apple's policies.
• The apps are provided for lawful use only. Don't use them to inspect files you have no right to open.

Your content stays yours

Files you preview or open with our apps remain yours. We claim no rights in them, and our apps are designed to process them locally (see our privacy policies).

Intellectual property

The website design, text, app names, logos, and original artwork belong to Mellowbit Studio. You may not copy or reuse them publicly without asking first. Product screenshots may be used in reviews and honest commentary about our apps.

Disclaimers

Our apps and website are provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. We aim for them to work well, but we can't promise they will be error-free or fit every unusual use case.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mellowbit Studio is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the website or apps, including data loss. If you aren't happy with an app, write to us — and remember you can contact Apple about App Store purchases.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the studio and its apps grow. The "Last updated" date at the top shows the current version.
